The Bowling
Tournaments of The Americas Association
holds two international bowling tournaments each year,
now in the Greater Fort Lauderdale area.

Lee Evans Tournament of
The Americas
July
27 - August 2, 2008
This invitational bowling tournament for the FIQ American Zone member countries'
National Teams of Adults, Senior and two age groups of Juniors will celebrated it's
45th year in 2007 again at Don Carter's Tamarac Lanes, Tamarac (Greater
Fort Lauderdale),
Florida and will move to Orlando, Florida in 2008.
The tournament has four divisions of men and women: Adult,
Senior and two Junior Divisions, 12-15 and 16-19 year olds. The
lower aged juniors were added in
2006.
A WTBA
sanctioned and American Zone Ranking Event.

This is
an open tournament for men and women Adult and Senior bowlers -
a bowling vacation.
Formerly called the Greater
Miami International for it's first 18 years at Cloverleaf Lanes
in Miami and the South Florida International for its 19th
& 20th years in Greater
Fort Lauderdale. The
tournament left Cloverleaf Lanes,
Miami, Florida, which was
closed in mid 2004 and moved to Don Carter's
Tamarac Lanes in
Tamarac, Florida. The 21st Florida International will
move to Orlando, Florida in May, 2008.
